Bio
Irene Rojas is a multimedia producer in the D.C. area. She is available to shoot, edit and deliver photo and video projects. Her speciality is in creating video projects for online audiences. Let her help you on your next media project!
She is proud of her Mizzou and Tribe heritage. She graduated from the University of Missouri in 2010 with a master’s degree in photojournalism. Before that, she graduated from the College of William & Mary with an English degree in 2008.
She is a member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Women in Film & Video DC (WIFV) and Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW), helping manage WPOW’s social media presence. She was part of The Legal Stranger team that won the best multimedia innovation category in the White House News Photographers Association (WHNPA) “The Eyes of History 2012″ contest. Her work has been featured in the spring 2011 issue of PDNedu, a Photo District News publication. During the summer of 2011, she was the multimedia intern at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts in Vienna, VA, and continues to assist Wolf Trap on a contract basis.
